MedCamps of Louisiana take on Atlanta, Georgia!
It’s that time again, that time of year that MedCamps of Louisiana gets excited for. It’s a new year which means, 2016 camp preparations begin! Starting off camp prep, in February we attend the American Camping Association Conference. It is four fun filled days of quality education, social and issues-based networking, professional trade-show access and special events that are designed to boost our professional development. Last year the conference was in New Orleans, LA. Here are a few pictures from last year.
This year the conference is in Atlanta, Georgia and let me tell you, we are stoked!!! This year’s conference “crew” consists of Caleb Seney, Kacie Hobson, Landon Brown, Katie Adams, Tom Sugg, Ashlyn Jackson, and Dylan Camp. We will be leaving bright and early on Sunday, February 7th. We will spend the first two days of our trip at Camp Twin Lakes, Will-A-Way, at the Special Needs Kindred in Winder, Georgia. On Tuesday, we will head to Atlanta and we will be in Atlanta until Friday, February 12th. We are so excited to meet new people and learn new ideas that will make this summer one for the books. Please pray for safe travels and we will update you guys when we return!
